Privacy

Your details stay yours.

Myname.cards stores your account email, name, password hash, sign-in sessions, creation defaults, card details and uploaded images. It also stores the ownership and current destination of NFC accessories you attach.

Public cards

Anyone with a card link or QR can see that card’s details, images and links. Include only information you are comfortable sharing publicly. Contact downloads contain the contact fields on that card.

Company cards

Your company administrator manages company cards, field permissions, invitations and change requests. Your personal cards and defaults remain separate from that company workspace.

Sharing shortcuts

Widgets and the paired Apple Watch store a copy of your eligible card details and QR for offline sharing. Signing out clears those shortcuts on your phone; the Watch receives the cleared state when it next connects.

Support enquiries

When you contact support, we email your name, email address, topic, message and any optional device details or card link to our support team. We use these details to respond to your enquiry. Please do not send passwords, payment details or private access keys.

Export and deletion

In the app, open Settings → Privacy to export your data or delete your account. Deletion removes your cards, uploaded images and sessions. Attached NFC accessories stop sharing and remain reserved. A company’s last administrator must assign another administrator first. Previously saved contacts, downloaded passes and copies held by other people cannot be recalled.

This page describes the current product’s data handling. Any future payments, analytics or identity-provider integrations will require this information to be updated before launch.
